The Timothy Dalton years. Trying to make Bond younger but still use the same old formula worked only once. By the second outing Bond had begun to show his “age” again and though Timothy Dalton was a great Bond, he couldn’t compete with the other high entertainment movies of Schwarzenegger, Stallone and the other BIG time action stars. The posters refected this attempt to keep Bond ‘retro’ but at the same time make him an 90’s action star. Didn’t work.
